The Small Urban and Rural Center on Mobility (SURCOM), formerly Small Urban and Rural Transit Center (SURTC), increases the mobility of small urban and rural residents throughout the United States and abroad through innovative research, education and outreach.

Relationship to UGPTI

SURCOM is a part of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (UGPTI) at North Dakota State University. The Institute provides transportation research, education, and outreach to the state of North Dakota as well as regionally, nationally, and internationally.
