Scholarship Opportunities

Each year UGPTI awards the following scholarships to encourage students to pursue careers in transportation and to recognize outstanding academic achievement:

• Charles E. Herman Scholarship — recognizes academic achievement and promote the education of transportation students with a preference to women and minorities at NDSU.
• Paul E.R. Abrahamson Transportation Scholarship — recognizes outstanding students at NDSU with an interest in the transportation and logistics of agricultural products.
• Transportation Engineering Scholarship — recognizes academic achievement and promotes the education of transportation students at NDSU.
• Tribal Transportation Scholarship — recognizes outstanding Native American students at NDSU with an interest in transportation, engineering, economics or agriculture.

Scholarship winners will be recognized each fall at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute Awards Banquet.
