Initiatives

• Commercial Vehicle Safety Center (CVSC)
  CVSC is a point of contact for universities, law enforcement, and driver licensing agencies looking to establish partnerships to improve commercial vehicle safety. CVSC sponsors webinars and provides resources related to commercial vehicle and driver safety.
• Tribal Transportation Outreach
  UGPTI's tribal outreach effort provides assistance to Native Nations to facilitate increased accessibility to transportation advancements in infrastructure and technology to ultimately enhance tribal livability. The web page will serve as a clearinghouse of information, programs, projects and contacts.
• Small Urban and Rural Center on Mobility (SURCOM)
  Training for transit operators, transit associations, and state departments of transportation as needs are identified. Topics include: business development, safety and security, fundraising, and many more.
• Transportation Learning Network (TLN)
  TLN was developed to serve the transportation interests of the region and complements the efforts of its various members. It provides access to information and expertise not readily available to transportation professionals in the region. TLN identifies, schedules, distributes and warehouses training for its members.
