Bedrock Research Provides Firm Foundation for Wyoming Transportation Infrastructure

Posted: Jan 13, 2023

Researchers at the University of Wyoming have developed a set of engineering properties for most bedrock encountered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation as they construct transportation infrastructure elements such as bridges. These measured properties will improve design efficiency and increase reliability of the transportation infrastructure. In addition, costs associated with site investigation and laboratory testing will be reduced.
