Brady is a Transportation Engineer for the Design Division of the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT), working in partnership with the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute and NDSU. Brady supervises engineering activities at DOTSC. He is the NDDOT's DOTSC section leader and serves as a project manager. Brady provides training and guidance to student design assistants working at the Support Center, and helps students understand the NDDOT project development process and apply engineering principles of highway design to NDDOT projects.

Engineering Experience

Project development of multiple design projects including:

  • Highway design
  • Urban reconstruction
  • Interstate / Interchange design
  • Maintenance projects
  • Signal design
  • Safety improvements

Experience in construction engineering and surveying as a; project engineer, field engineer, inspector, and land survey intern.

Goals

  • Provide fundamental engineering knowledge to students and demonstrate the application of that knowledge to NDDOT projects.
  • Utilize the DOTSC environment to explore new engineering practices and technologies.
  • To introduce students to career development and leadership opportunities through innovative training.
  • To encourage students and other professionals to promote the organization and the industry through professional organizations & community involvement.
