Agriculture, Energy, and Industrial Freight Center
The Agriculture, Energy, and Industrial Freight Center conducts economic analysis, transportation planning, and network analysis to improve the competitiveness of the region's producers and businesses through enhanced transportation, supply chain management and logistics. Efforts focus on policy and investment decisions and application of logistics and supply chain management principals. Researchers also study the use of local resources in infrastructure, investment, and maintenance and the effects of investments and policies on ag producers, businesses and traditional and alternative energy industries.
One activity of the Center is to develop monthly reports on the North Dakota grain industry.
