Abstract

In conjunction with toXcel, eScience & Technology Solutions (eSTS), JFL Solutions, QS-2, the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), and PrePass Safety Alliance, this project explored and prototyped processes, communication methods, and inspection technologies to facilitate electronic safety inspections of Cooperative Automated Driving Systems (C-ADS)-equipped CMV operations at the roadside, at borders, and in other fixed enforcement locations.
