Abstract
ATAC conducted a detailed analysis of potential impacts of the I-29 construction activities in Fargo. The analyses included estimating user costs due to the construction along the corridor as well as possible alternative routes. A network consisting of I-29 as well as alternative routes was constructed in the VISSIM traffic simulation model. The network contained over 60 signalized intersections. Traffic volumes were varied based on ranges of traffic diversions from I-29.
