2025 Autonomous Trucking Conference
Evolution of Autonomous Trucking in North Dakota and the Northern Plains

With support from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute will host its 2025 conference on autonomous trucks at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND on September 15-16.

No fee to attend, but registration is required. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available at registration.

A limited amount of funding is available to provide travel support for local, Tribal, and state employees. Travel funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact jody.bohn.baldock@ndsu.edu for more information or to apply for funds.

MITRE’s DART on Display

DART (Driverless Autonomous Research Testbed) is a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with integrated drive-by-wire, computing, localization, perception, and power electronics. The DART is a configurable platform that can be used to test different sensors, hardware, and automated driving systems under a range of operational environments to ensure reliable autonomous operations aligned to leading technology capabilities. This vehicle is strictly used for research purposes as one of several ground, air, and sea autonomous platforms within MITRE's Mobile Autonomous Systems Experimentation (MASE) Lab.

MITRE is a not-for-profit organization that acts in the public interest by delivering objective, cost-effective solutions to many of the world's biggest challenges. It operates federally funded research and development centers and provides technical expertise, stability, and continuity to government agency sponsors.
