2026 Recipient

Nathaniel Angus is a senior in civil engineering from West Fargo, is president of the NDSU Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and serves as treasurer for the NDSU Steel Bridge Team. He is also involved in club tennis on campus. Angus has made the Dean’s List every semester of his college career. In 2024 he was a member of the NDSU team that won the Fiber Reinforced Concrete Bowling Ball Regional Championship. At West Fargo Sheyenne High School, he was a member of the National Honor Society and received the Outstanding Service Award. He also played tennis and was in the orchestra. Angus has been an engineering intern with Mead and Hunt and Moore Engineering. After graduating, he plans to pursue a career as a civil engineer focused on water resources or structural engineering where he can work on projects that result in durable infrastructure that improves safety.
