High-ResJoseph (Alex) Zikmund
Zikmund is a senior in civil engineering from Aberdeen, SD. He has been active in the Associated Society of Civil Engineers, the Concrete Canoe Competition, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America and intramural athletics. He has earned an NDSU Presidential Scholarship, was named to the Dean's List and is in the NDSU Honors Program. He also received scholarships from the Associated General Contractors of South Dakota, the Associated General Contractors of North Dakota and the North Dakota Association of Oil and Gas Producing Counties. During college he has worked for Houston Engineering and for UGPTI's Department of Transportation Support Center. He plans to pursue a career in transportation engineering after graduation. He is the son of Joseph and Nicole Zikmund.
