Jody brings more than 40 years of experience in working with staff, students and soldiers in achieving their educational goals and providing human resource assistance. Retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service, Jody served in positions of administration, procurement, human resources and deployed to Honduras, Marshal Islands, Panama, Korea, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. That experience provides her with a global perspective and a wide range of skills. As Department Manager and Executive Director of the Center for Transformative Infrastructure Preservation and Sustainability for the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute, she use this expertise to assist staff, faculty, and students to attain professional success and growth while facilitating the growth research, education, and outreach of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute.

Along with the department manager responsibilities for UGPTI, she also provides guidance and support to the Center for Transformative Infrastructure Preservation and Sustainability for research project selection and implementation, fulfilling reporting requirements, budget management, recruitment and marketing. In addition, she develops and monitors all HR strategies, systems, procedures and policies for UGPTI.

Jody implements marketing and advertising campaigns for the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute by assembling and analyzing forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
