Sanchez Earns Honorable Mention in CSU Graduate ShowcasePosted: Apr 25, 2023 CSU civil and environmental engineering master's degree student Daniel Sanchez earned an honorable mention in the Great Minds in Research category of the CSU Graduate Showcase in November. He received the award with Dr. Karan Venayagamoorthy, professor of civil and environmental engineering, for their presentation, "Semi-Trucks and Trailers Overturning in High Crosswinds." The award was presented collaboratively by the Graduate School and the Office of Vice President for Research, and recognizes graduate student submissions that contribute to the excellence and advancement of research, scholarship, and entrepreneurial efforts at CSU. Sanchez is currently working as a water resources engineer in training with Jacobs, an international business and engineering consulting firm. He previously worked at the CSU Engineering Research Center in the hydraulics laboratory as a lab technician and with Myers and Sons Construction as a project engineering intern. |
