The scholarship was presented by Mark Wolter, president of the club, and Kris Olson, treasurer. The $500 scholarship recognizes students pursuing careers in or in support of the transportation who demonstrate high academic accomplishments, are active in community organizations and serve as excellent role models. Dehdari Ebrahimi is also a graduate research assistant with the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute at NDSU and has been a student on campus since 2018. She earned her M.S. in Industrial management and operations research at Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran, Iran, and her B.S. in industrial engineering from Qazvin University in Qazvin, Iran. Her research focuses on applying queueing systems and mathematical modeling to the healthcare systems, micromobility, public transportation systems, and supply chain management. |
