UGPTI Researcher Named Challey Institute Faculty FellowPosted: Oct 25, 2019 Ranjit Godavarthy, UGPTI associate research fellow and assistant professor of transportation and logistics was among the recently named 2019-2020 Faculty Fellows with the Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth. The fellows are a group of NDSU faculty that will contribute to the mission of the Challey Institute by engaging in policy-relevant research, educating and training students and informing the public on issues related to that mission. Godavarthy's research areas include demand-response transit and paratransit services, transit in small urban and rural communities, transit's contribution towards rural livability, bike sharing, roundabout studies, traffic control devices, transportation and highway safety, pedestrian studies, low volume road safety, and freight transportation.
