Karanki Earns Graduate Student Best Paper Award from TRFPosted: Jul 17, 2019 NDSU graduate student Fecri Karanki recently received the Graduate Student Best Paper award at the Transportation Research Forum's Annual Forum in Washington, D.C. Fecri, a Ph.D. student in transportation and logistics as well as in statistics, presented a paper that explored the impact that the kinds of business agreements between airports and airlines have on airport efficiency. Co-author of the paper was Siew Lim, an associate professor of agribusiness and applied economics at NDSU. The Annual Forum hosted transportation practitioners, regulators and researchers from across the nation. Attendees learned about the best in transportation research, applied practices and innovations impacting public sector policy initiatives, enhancing markets and creating new market opportunities to meet current transportation demands and future expectations. |
