UGPTI program directors Brad Wentz and Tim Horner were invited presentors at the ND Association of Counties annual conference Oct. 8-10 in Bismarck. Wentz presented information on UGPTI's Geographic Roadway Inventory Tool (GRIT). GRIT was also featured in the conference's exhibit hall and generated numerous questions and good feedback.
Horner presented information on the truck harmonization study conducted by UGPTI and subsequent action by the ND Legislature to allow trucks weighing up to 129,000 lbs. on some ND highways.
