Ripplinger Receives Scholarship AwardPosted: Nov 30, 2005 The Transportation Research Forum Foundation recently awarded a $500 scholarship to David Ripplinger, an associate research fellow with the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute. Ripplinger is pursuing a doctoral degree in transportation and logistics. He uses his expertise in computer modeling and statistics to evaluate mobility and transit issues for the Institute's Small Urban & Rural Transit Center. He is a member of the Transportation Research Forum Economics Committee. Ripplinger is a native of Devils Lake and earned a B.S. degree from NDSU in agricultural economics and an M.S. in economics from Iowa State University. The Transportation Research Forum and its Foundation provide an impartial forum for the exchange of ideas among practitioners, researchers, and government officials regarding all aspects of logistics and for both domestic and international issues.
