NDSU Program Featured in Military Logistics MagazinePosted: Sep 13, 2012 NDSU's Master of Managerial Logistics program was recently highlighted in August issue of Military Logistics Forum, a magazine that bills itself at the "world's largest magazine dedicated exclusively to the military logistics community." In a feature titled "Educating the Logistician," UGPTI director Denver Tolliver describes the program's focus on career military officers, Department of Defense civilians and other logistics professionals. Tolliver noted that NDSU is working to take the program international, working with universities in South Korea and Morocco to offer the degree from those countries who would study at NDSU. Also, he noted that NDSU is extending the program to the National Guard and is in discussions with the U.S. Army with regard to offering the program at Fort Lee in Virginia, home to U.S. Army training programs in logistics and transportation. NDSU's program was established in 2007 and focuses heavily on risk analysis and dealing with uncertainty in the decision-making process. Published in NDSU's staff newsletter |
