Term Description
Incident
An individual occurrence or event such as a collision, derailment, personal casualty, fire and/or property damage associated with transit agency revenue vehicles; all other facilities on the transit property; or service vehicles, maintenance areas and rights-of-way. For an incident to be reportable to FTA, it must involve a transit vehicle or occur on transit property and result in death, injury or property damage in excess of $1000.
