Taraneh Askarzadeh is a Ph.D. Student at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute, NDSU. She received her M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from the Azad University of Tehran. She was previously a lecturer with Islamic Azad University, where she taught courses in urban development, urban planning, architecture, and research methods.
