  • Mar 17-18, 2021 – Recognizing that learning and safety efforts must continue, the Northland Chapter of ATSSA elected to deliver a mini event virtually after making the difficult decision to cancel the traditional conference (with classes, exhibitors, and networking) two years in a row. The conference serves as the premier regional event to hand off roadway safety information, a platform to share design and maintenance best practices, a setting to see the new market materials and most importantly, as a place to network.

With support from the NDDOT, FHWA and the Minot Air Force Base, more than 120 transportation users, owners and industry leaders attended.

  • Jun 27-28, 2017 – This regional seminar provides a forum for pavement professionals representing State, Local and Federal Agencies, Contractors, Suppliers, Consultants, Academia and MPO's. Presenting state-of-the-art technologies, which are the building blocks of the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual (BARM), attendees have the opportunity to view multiple processes in the field, share experiences, and learn ways to incorporate responsible recycling into their pavement programs or future projects.

  • Aug 9-10, 2016 – The In-Place Recycling & Reclaiming Seminar, and Live Demonstration, is a forum of pavement professionals representing State, Local and Federal Agencies, Contractors, Suppliers, Consultants, Academia, MPO's, all working together to take advantage of the synergy to be gained from sharing information and identifying common issues for further investigation. The seminar will provide a platform for national pavement professionals to present the state-of-the-art technologies that went on to be the building blocks of the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual (BARM). The seminar addresses the needs of professionals at all levels from Interstate Highways to Commercial and Residential Developments—Design Engineers, Highway Engineers, Consulting Engineers, other Public Works Officials, Contractors, and Material Suppliers, who want to incorporate responsible recycling into their pavement program.

Given the venue, the Stark County shop, we have the opportunity to see a wide-array of real life innovations in a comfortable environment. Al Heiser, Stark County Road Superintendent and host for the event, is confident that everyone will walk away with ideas to work more efficiently and safely. For Stark County, their hope is to find a lighter post driver and to share ideas on equipment usage.
