Speaker Bio
Bill Bland is the founder and CEO of the Medidas Group whose mission is to reduce the frequency and severity of vehicle collisions through the use of innovative technology. Bill has developed several driver-related technologies and has worked with Fortune 500 companies, major healthcare systems, governments and leading driver education associations in assessing and reducing driver risk. He currently sits on the research committee for the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association, is a Knowledge Partner for the Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals and has presented at the National Distracted Driving Coalition technology forum in Washington, DC.
His current project, the Safe Roads Challenge combines mobile and web-based gamified apps with the collection of rich, de-identified driver risk data enabling proactive driver change. Creating a win-win value proposition for all stakeholders in driver safety leads to safer roads and communities!
