Trooper Lynch has been with the Washington State Patrol (WSP) for 15 years in the metro Seattle area, currently assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Division. He has a BA in Criminal Justice, and has completed NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) Training and ARIDE (Advanced Roadside Impairment Detection and Evaluation) Training. He is a Drug Recognition Expert, a Collision Technical Investigator, a NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor, and a WSP Academy Instructor for Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officers (Impairment Awareness Training). He is also a Member of the WSP Target Zero Team (DUI Squad – 100's of DUI's arrested) and a CVSA Certified CMV and Hazmat Inspector.
