Captain Sharpensteen is a 31-year veteran of the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Assignments as an officer included Highway Patrol, Operational Training, Organized Crime, and DEA Taskforce. As a supervisor, assignments in Gangs, Narcotics, and Intelligence. As a Captain, command assignments in Gangs, Highway Patrol, Capital, Intelligence, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. He has a Criminal Justice degree from Grand Canyon University and has attended numerous command schools.
