Professor Nic Ward (F. Erg. S.) is the Director of the Center for Health and Safety Culture and a Professor of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering in the Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering at Montana State University. He also serves as a Principal Investigator (PI) and provides leadership and expertise on multiple projects about traffic safety. Ward is an original member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Subcommittee on Roadway Safety Culture, co-author of the National Toward Zero Death strategy, and a recognized international leader for the advancement of traffic safety culture as the foundation for creating safe systems.
