Abstract
ATAC was contracted by the Grand Forks - East Grand Forks MPO to add 16 intersections to the City's traffic data collection database. Prior to this project, The Grand Forks - East Grand Forks MPO and City of Grand Forks were using approx. 150 (38 intersections) of the City's existing traffic detection cameras for traffic data collection. These cameras were set up during Phase I, II, and IIIa of the study. The data reported by the cameras are archived in separate databases and can be processed into various reports. In addition to this project, ATAC looked into East Grand Forks intersection requirements to apply similar data archival.
