Elvis is working on livability at the Small Urban and Rural Transit Center (SURTC) of UGPTI. His current project is aimed at evaluating demographic indicators, funding needs, and the role of transit in improving livability (quality of life) on Tribal reservations in the U.S. During his doctorate program, he was a graduate research assistant for SURTC at UGPTI. In addition to livability, he has conducted research in several other areas including, needs assessment, economic impact, cost-benefit analysis, transportation economics, and supply chain logistics and management.
