Satpal S. Wadhwa is a Transportation System analyst at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute. His primary area of research and outreach are network analysis and mobility to support rural traffic research in traffic modeling and decision support systems. With a strong foundation in quantitative methods, Dr. Wadhwa provides support to other program areas in promoting more innovative and realistic solutions in rural logistics, supply chain management, e-commerce, social equity and community health.

Dr. Wadhwa has over 7 years of Industry and consulting experience which spans from industrial and manufacturing, healthcare to freight supply chain and has worked with both public and private stakeholders. In addition, he has had the opportunity to work with students as teaching and research assistants and teaching courses at NDSU.
