Dr. Michal Jaroszynski has several years of experience in examining transportation policies and identifying best practices in designing sustainable and equitable transportation systems. He is particularly interested in delivering implementation-ready solutions to the crucial issues faced by U.S. transportation systems, such as inadequate funding and insufficient availability of alternative travel modes. His research bridges elements of urban planning, engineering, economics, policy analysis, and social theories. Dr. Jaroszynski is using a broad array of tools in his research, including data analytics, GIS, forecasting, and qualitative methods.

Dr. Jaroszynski has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. He also co-authored numerous UGPTI reports delivered to the North Dakota DOT. As a faculty member of the NDSU Department of Transportation, Logistics and Finance, he currently teaches four graduate courses and serves on several dissertation committees.
