Abstract
This manual briefly describes the features of the prototype knowledge-base decision support system developed specifically for the Utah State Police Academy and termed POSAT (Police Officer Standards and Training). It explains how to install the program on your computer system, and how to start and quit the program. It also includes information about the screens you will see and the appropriate responses needed to navigate the program. This manual assumes that you are familiar with the basic terminology and procedures for using Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or later. It also assumes that you have set up the Windows operating environment on your computer system.
