County Road Planning Workbook
In an environment of shrinking resources and increasing costs, the need for a strong road planning effort is becoming more apparent, particularly for counties and townships. The objective of this study is to develop a workbook to assist counties in their road planning process. A case study approach will be taken to develop the workbook. Case study counties have been selected to participate in the planning process in order to develop the workbook. The counties selected to date include Mendocino County in northern California, Cass County in North Dakota, and Boyle County in Kentucky. In addition to the workbook, a corresponding Train the Trainer program will be developed for LTAP personnel.
