Abstract

ATAC was contracted by North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) to complete a technical memorandum documenting the Spot Speed Studies conducted along I-29 in Fargo, Cass County, ND. The speed studies were conducted at two locations with northbound and southbound directions of travel observed. The collected data was then interpreted and compared to the posted speed limits at each speed study location. The results showed that the 85th percentile speed was slightly higher than the 75mph speed limit for both locations.
