Supply Chain Management: Implications for Small and Rural Suppliers and Manufacturers
The objective of this study was to assess the logistical capabilities of rural suppliers and compare their abilities to larger firms located in the Minneapolis area. In-depth interviews were conducted with 12 leading edge firms in the Minneapolis area in order to ascertain their perception of logistics and supply chain management and implications for rural suppliers.
