Agricultural Transportation

The Agricultural Transportation research and service agenda promotes the efficient use of resources and lends itself to the competitiveness of agricultural products in the Upper Great Plains region. Research is defined within eight broad categories:

  • Modal share and commodity analysis
  • Efficiency
  • Infrastructure
  • Economic impact
  • Rate structure
  • Regulatory changes
  • International transportation
  • Equipment and supply

The research projects that are undertaken are done based on input from producers, commodity promotion groups, government, and others interested in the success of North Dakota agriculture.
