The Master of Military Logistics (MML) at North Dakota State University is a 36 graduate credit professional degree program targeted specifically at career military officers, Department of Defense civilians, and other logistic professionals. The degree is tailored to the Department of Defense's strategic goals of joint officer and civilian development and logistics transformation. Because of its interdisciplinary and specialized nature, the MML degree will offer a unique curriculum that meets all 12 points of the National Logistics Curriculum outlined by the U.S. Army Logistics Management College.
The MML is part of the interdisciplinary Transportation & Logistics Program offered by the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies. The Colleges of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources; Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences; Business Administration; Engineering & Architecture; and Science & Mathematics participate in the MML. The MML is sponsored and coordinated by the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute. This program will focus on logistics and supply chain management, global-international logistical systems, enterprise resource planning, remote sensing and adaptive logistics planning, joint total asset management, logistics, and security through technologies (RFID), contract management, crisis analysis, homeland security, and transportation analysis.
In addition, the curriculum will include a synthesis course in military logistics case studies as well as logistics research methods designed to build the research and analytical skills of the students.
