Nov. 29-30, 2007 – The conference goal is to enhance region's traffic safety through exchanges on emerging issues, successes, and challenges ahead that will be used to prioritize research and outreach needs for the region.

National Summit on Agricultural and Food Truck Transport for the Future
Apr. 25-26, 2007 – Provide a venue for the trucking industry and other interested organizations to discuss critical issues and bring forth ideas to strengthen commercial trucking as a key partner in the future success of U.S. agriculture. Given the essential role the trucking sector plays in U.S. agriculture, this national venue will encourage proactive and coordinated efforts, and contribute to efficient and effective transportation of agricultural commodities and food for the future.

N.D. Rural Transportation Safety and Security Summit
Aug. 23-24, 2006 – A forum to discuss critical rural transportation safety and security issues, and introduce stakeholders in the region to a new Center of research and outreach.

Cross Border Regional Truck Transportation Conference
Jun. 15-16, 2005 – Because of this increased regional trade, it is imperative for states and provinces to develop a dialog that will result in a more efficient and competitive truck transportation system. The Cross Border Regional Truck Transportation Conference will bring neighboring states and provinces together to develop awareness of truck size and weight regulation commonalities and differences and identify opportunities for states and provinces to work together to create a more competitive regional economy.

Rural Freight Transportation Conference
Sept. 8, 2004 – Highlighting economic, planning, and policy issues associated with promoting effective and efficient multimodal export alternatives for rural economies.

A National Forum on Agriculture and Transportation Linkages
