University of Colorado Denver Offers GAANN PhD Fellowships in Transportation Engineering

Posted: Mar 6, 2017

The Safe, Healthy and Resilient Communities (SHRC) PhD program at the University of Colorado Denver is a US Department of Education-sponsored Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) PhD fellowship program focusing on interdisciplinary training of fellows in areas of transportation engineering for safe, healthy, and resilient communities. The three-year fellowship will cover tuition, fees, conference travel and an annual stipend. The SHRC PhD program tackles the fundamental disconnect between the current focus of the transportation engineering discipline and what it actually takes to build safer, healthier and more resilient communities.
